Hundreds
of hardy swimmers brave the freezing water of
Lake Ontario, each contributing funds they have
collected from sponsors, friends, employers and
co-workers.
Thousands
of spectators gather on the shoreline to watch
the zany swimmers frolic in the frigid water.
Swimmers and spectators alike join the fun in
the day's many activities.
