The 41st Olcott Polar Bear "Swim for Sight"
will be Sunday, March 7, 2010!

Sponsored by the Olcott Lions Club, the Swim for Sight has become best known for its fund-raising efforts that aid the blind and visually impaired.

Sponsored by the Olcott Lions Club, the Swim for Sight has become best  known for its fundraising efforts that aid the blind and visually impaired.


Hundreds of hardy swimmers brave the freezing water of Lake Ontario, each contributing funds they have collected from sponsors, friends, employers and co-workers.

Thousands of spectators gather on the shoreline to watch the zany swimmers frolic in the frigid water. Swimmers and spectators alike join the fun in the day's many activities.

Olcott Beach is located on Lake Ontario, off Route 18 at Route 78 North. Less than an hour from Buffalo. Just over an hour from Rochester.

Handicapped parking is available on Ontario Street, above the beach.
